In this series of the Kinetic Paper collection I tried to build an evolution of the shape within the perimeter of each shape. The result is a perspective progression that gives the whole necklace more movement. This necklace is also a study on emptiness and fullness. Its alter ego is the Memento necklace.
Pressed cardboard necklace. It is made thanks to accurate calculations that have made it possible to assemble each element with 6 different components. The result is an impeccable architecture that offers a great choreography of elements. Once you have worn this very light jewel you will not need a complex garment but the simplest of clothes will suffice.
The pressed cardboard necklace has been designed so that each element is made up of different pieces that fit together and without the use of glues. It is assembled by hand and superficially treated in order to make it resistant and at the same time preserve its lightness. The magnetic closure integrates the research philosophy that surrounds this wonderful garment.
This series of necklaces exploits some of the aspects experimented through the Transparencia technique, that is, both movement and space. The fundamental assembly method allows to perceive what is constant, steady, on mutable surfaces, that is in movement. This creative process derives from the adoption of non-color, black and / or white.
I wanted to represent beauty in this brooch, between hidden and revealed elements only by placing ourselves in front of it. I believe that we are always ready to go back to that broken beauty that allowed us to be perfect, free and pure beings.
This series ofthis necklace with an important volume maintains a great lightness. The optical game fascinates the viewer thanks to the movement of the wearer. It is part of research on movement and space, on emptiness and fullness.
Inspired by an exotic bird, it offers a series of empty shapes that further enrich the concepts of overlapping and optical effect.
This necklace is inspired by the concept of rebirth and the life cycle that is in every nature. Emerging from the darkness and then returning, opening up and showing off and then starting again towards oneself, towards our own intimacy. Rising and reviving are concepts that suit my current research on programmed art applied to jewelry.
